This is the first hands-on the HTC Evo 4G LTE for Sprint. Launching in a couple months for only $199, this is the “real” followup to the original HTC Evo. www.MyTouchSlideForum.com Hands on preview of the T-mobile MyTouch Slide, remember to subscribe!!! PLEASE READ through the comments before asking questions… Here are some of the common questions you guys are asking: Q: How much does the phone cost? A: $400 full price, $150 after a $50 mail in rebate with a 2 year contract.(This may change) Q: When does it release? A: June 2nd, 2010 Q: How is the battery life? A: Its been alright so far, I can definitely manage it to last a full day although some users may have trouble doing so. Whats cool is that the phone has a detailed battery report which gives you a run down on what features are draining your battery life which in turn helps you manage the phone better. If I had to give the battery life a score it would be a 6.5/10 where my Blackberry 8900 is a 9.5/10…this by far is my only REAL gripe with the phone. Q: How much does the data plan/internet cost? A: Depending on your plan it can range anywhere from $25-$30 a month. If you DON’T want the data plan you will HAVE to pay FULL PRICE for the phone. Wifi works without the data plan. Call T-Mobile to find out how much you would pay, or visit the website. Q: This or the Nexus 1/HD2/Evo4G? A: This is based on your opinion honestly. The N1′s/HD2/Evo’s specs absolutely demolish the specs on this phone BUT even with that said some ppl can’t be without a physical keyboard myself included. If you don’t mind NOT having a keyboard get the Nexus/Evo…I still wouldn’t recommend the …
